At Ruff Tuff we love to add new fabrics, but we know there are people whose ideal colors we've missed. Whether it's "brat summer" or Pantone's latest Color of the Year, we can't always predict demand.
Our engineers have outdone themselves this time with our new Color Your Own Custom Seat Covers. They're limited only by your imagination and your art medium choice. Create your own bold color combinations!
The current pattern is Cute and Cozy, but more are in the works:
Do you wish our outdoor camos were less aggressive? You can do it! Do you prefer hot pink? Have difficulty committing to just one color scheme? Go nuts! Do the kids like to color on long car rides?
The designs to color are already printed right on the cover. Use permanent markers, such as Sharpies. Be sure to crack the windows.
It might be best to avoid wearing anything white or light-colored, especially natural fibers, for several months. And try not to sweat in the car.
For safety, the driver should not color while the vehicle is in motion. No passenger should attempt to color the driver's seat while it's in use.
Can I wash them off to re-color?
Strong rubbing alcohol will remove the ink but destroy the fabric. So no.
What if I make a mistake?
We advise against that.
How many markers will I need?
For a standard pair of bucket seats, plan on at least 87 markers.
Can I use something besides permanent marker?
Maybe spray paint? Feel free to experiment. Let us know how it goes. (It will void the warranty.)
Should I color the covers before or after installation?
The odds of masterpiece vs. disaster are about equal either way. You do you.
